About the program

MoveToOwn offers an optional text message program for people who sign up for updates on movetourown.com. Messages are informational, for example a short note when we publish a new guide or update an existing one, or a reminder about a planning topic covered in our guides. We do not use the program to offer loans, insurance or real estate services.

How you join

You join the program only by entering your mobile number on our sign-up form and checking the box that reads: "By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring informational text messages from MoveToOwn at the mobile number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. See our Mobile Policy and Privacy Policy."

The text message box is never checked for you, and you can sign up for email updates without agreeing to texts. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

By joining, you confirm that you are the account holder for the mobile number you provide, or that you have the account holder's permission to enroll it.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. We send messages only when we have something useful to share.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.

How to stop messages

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and after that you will receive no further text messages from us unless you sign up again. You can also ask to be removed by emailing info@movetourown.com.

Reply HELP to any message for help, or email info@movetourown.com.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your wireless carrier and network coverage and is not assured.

Privacy

We respect your privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Please read our Privacy Policy to learn how we handle the information you share with us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Mobile Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. These terms are part of our Terms of Use.
